Pakistan’s Exports Rise by 9.98% to $19.55 Billion in First Seven Months of FY 2024-25

Pakistan’s exports recorded a 9.98% growth during the first seven months (July–January) of the ongoing fiscal year 2024-25, reaching $19.551 billion, compared to $17.777 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year 2023-24.

Despite the rise in exports, the country’s trade deficit widened by 2.84%, according to data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). The deficit climbed to $13.488 billion in the July–January period of FY 2024-25, up from $13.116 billion in the corresponding period last year.

Additionally, Pakistan’s imports grew by 6.95%, amounting to $33.039 billion in the first seven months of the fiscal year, compared to $30.893 billion in the same period of FY 2023-24.
