Sindh Home Minister attends passing-out parade of 1300 recruits at Shahid Hayat Policing Training College in Saeedabad.

Karachi: Sindh Home Minister Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar attended today the passing-out parade of 1300 recruits at the Shahid Hayat Policing Training College in Saeedabad as a Chief Guest. IGP Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon and other senior officers were also present.

In his address, Sindh Home Minister Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar said that he was delighted to see the cadets today and congratulated all the of them on completing the passing-out parade successfully.

“The Sindh Police is a disciplined force, and its fitness standards are excellent. You have been trained for CPEC security, as the country needs to protect foreign investors. You are also aware that the country’s economic and economic development depends on effective security and better law and order,” said Zia Ul Hassan Lanjar.

Sindh Home Minister also praised the Sindh Police for the excellent work on maintaining law and order in the province.

“You will eliminate those who have evil intentions towards the country and Sindh. The credit for controlling the street crime in Karachi and the situation in Katcha areas goes to the Sindh Police. The force’s personnel have made sacrifices, and that’s why peace has been restored. The Sindh government supports the police and will provide more facilities to them,” said Sindh Home Minister.

IGP Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon also addressed the parade. “The standard of today’s parade is better than the past. Congratulations to the 1300 recruits passing out today. I hope you will uphold the oath and may not disappoint us,” said IG Sindh.

IG Sindh said that 1147 recruits belong to the Special Protection Unit and will be responsible for protecting Chinese citizens. 191 female personnel will join the Karachi Police Range. He expressed hope that the police performance will improve with the increase in female personnel while creating a positive impact.

The IG Sindh said that the Sindh government has approved the budget according to the proposals submitted, allocating Rs 15 billion for health insurance, allowing police officers and personnel to receive treatment at any good hospital.

The IG Sindh also said that the Sindh government has a vision to change the Thana culture, and Rs 4 billion will be allocated to Thanas to improve their services. Model police stations are being built in each district at a cost of Rs 28 crore.
