Karachi : a lively city in Pakistan, is famous for its culture and history, but also for its extreme heat.
The high temperatures in the city often make daily life very difficult for its people. The summer
months from April to August, are the hottest, with temperatures often reaching 40°C (104°F) or
more.
This heat wave can cause health problems like dehydration and heatstroke. Hospitals are often full
of people. Especially the elderly, children, and those with existing medical conditions. Therefore,
people are advised to stay indoor during the hottest days and use fans and air-conditioners.
Government should also take necessary steps, in order to help people with limited facilities.
Karachi’s hot weather is a big problem, but by understanding it’s causes and effects, and by working
together, we can find ways to make Karachi a better place for everyone.
