Karachi: In a bid to enhance the employability of Pakistanis in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), a new Arabic Language Center has been established at the Government Vocational Training Institute in Karachi’s Buffer Zone area. The initiative, a collaboration between the UAE government and Stivita, was inaugurated by UAE Consul General in Karachi, Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi.

During the inauguration ceremony, Consul General Al-Remeithi highlighted the significant role played by Pakistanis in the development of Dubai and other cities in the UAE. He noted that while the number of Pakistanis seeking employment in the UAE had declined over the years, there was still a strong demand for Arabic-speaking professionals in various sectors.

“With more than 7 million Pakistanis currently working in Gulf countries, it is essential to bridge the language barrier to ensure better opportunities and integration,” stated Al-Remeithi. He emphasized that learning Arabic would not only facilitate better communication for Pakistanis in the UAE but also enhance their chances of securing lucrative job offers.

Moreover, Al-Remeithi assured that Pakistanis would be given preferential treatment in job placements across all sectors in the UAE. He also announced plans to invite students from the vocational center to the UAE visa center, providing them with direct access to employment opportunities in the Gulf country.

In conclusion, Al-Remeithi urged students to disregard anti-national content on social media platforms, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a positive image and focusing on their educational and professional development.

The establishment of the Arabic Language Center marks a significant step towards empowering Pakistani workers in the UAE and fostering stronger ties between the two nations.
