Karachi Pakistan : Barriers have to be removed to increase investment, domestic or foreign investors do not invest based on friendship but for-profit and 56% of Pakistan’s population consists of youth who are the future asset. Governor of Sindh was speaking at a dinner hosted by renowned businessman and CEO of Tabani Group, Hamza Yaqoob Tabani in his honor and Provincial Ministers Brigadier (retd.) Haris Nawaz and Syed Junaid Ali Shah.


Apart from the Consul General of China, Turkey, Sultanate of Oman, Afghanistan, Dr. Mirza Akhtar Baig, Murad Sohni, Nasir Shekhani, Muhammad Hanif Gohar, Shoaib Khan, Yahya Polani, Dr. Zahid Ansari, Zahid Hameed, Tariq Lakhir, Athar Iqbal, Syed Danish was present in the ceremony. A large number of business communities including Qamar, Rashid Siddiqui, Muhammad Ali Haider, Muhammad Aslam Mian, Shahid Ismail, Afzal Hadiya, Asif SumSum, Faraz-ur-Rehman, Abdul Majeed Pardesi, Nasir Sheikh, Farhan Gohar, Haji Masood Parekh were present.


Governor of Sindh Kamran Tessori said that in today’s ceremony, there are people who came in vehicles worth more than 3 billion rupees and the owners of assets worth more than 300 billion rupees are sitting here. However, we are forced to extend our hands to the IMF, we should think about it and think about the 22 Crore people outside of ourselves. He said that there are trillions of dollars worth of mineral deposits in Sindh, yet the victims of the flood that happened 2 years ago are still homeless, there is a need to free the society from the 52 mafias in the city. He said that we do not have a shortage of qualified people, despite the bad economic situation of the country, questions arise. The Saudi ambassador told me that the first head of the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia was a Pakistani. He said that increasing exports in the country is the most important need of the hour.
Provincial Interior Minister Brigadier (R) Haris Nawaz said that 12,000 cameras will be installed to make Karachi a safe city, out of which work has been started on 4,000 cameras. Provincial Minister for Culture and Archives Junaid Ali Shah said that we are working for the development of the entire province.
At the end of the event, the host Hamza Yaqoob Tabani thanked the participants and said that we were encouraged by the presence of people including the Governor and Ministers.
