KARACHI /J. Choudhry: The ceremony of 14th Corporate Ambassador Awards organized at Jasmine Hall of the Beach Luxury Hotel, Karachi, turned out to be the super-hit show as it was a well-attended event and galaxies belonging to different walks of life graced this event with their presence.

The ceremony of 14th Corporate Ambassador Awards was started with recitation of Holy Quran by Amima Siddiqui, who is Hafiz-e-Quran; Qualified Aalma and also becoming Dental Surgeon.
After Tilawat, Pakistan’s famous Sanaa-Khwan Fouzia Fatima recited Hamdo-Sanaa with her mesmerizing and majestic style.
Rozina Jalal, country’s renowned Astrologer, TV Analyst and Chairperson of Jury of 14th Corporate Ambassador Awards delivered the welcome address. She welcomed the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, Special Guests and the participants. She said that Javed Mahmood, Chief Editor of Weekly Corporate Ambassador has taken the initiative of Corporate Ambassador Awards since 2012 with the aim to acknowledge, appreciate the talent, achievements and excellence in performance in all walks of life and social welfare as well.
Rozina Jalal said that the Jury of the Corporate Ambassador Awards to bringing forth the faces who believe in hard work and deliver by achieving excellence in their professional work and career. She applauded the aims and objectives of Corporate Ambassador Awardsand stated that this platform would continue to appreciate those who are doing excellent work with commitment and dedication and integrity.
Speaking on the occasion, Mubasher Mir, President of the Karachi Editors Club also appreciate the Corporate Ambassador Awards program and said that encouragement and appreciation is essential in the society to promote good work and development. He said that since 2012, more than 500 organizations and individuals have received this award this shows the significance of this awards program and efforts of Javed Mahmood, Founder of Weekly Corporate Ambassador and Corporate Ambassador Awards for promoting the talent. He said that the awards programs must be supported and continued to welcome the high-achievers and to highlight their achievements for encouragement and motivation for the people to work for excellence in their life. Mubasher Mir is also organizing his two awards in a year _ one for journalists through the Sahafi Welfare Organization and the other is the Energy Award programme for the stakeholders of the energy sector in Pakistan.
Dr Sikandar Ali Shaikh, President of Serving Hands Organization, an NGO working for healthcare of the deserving people in Karachi. Dr Sikandar had already been honoured with an award from the United States Rotary Club Association for his dedicated welfare in healthcare field. Dr Sikandar cited the poet “Ma’an” (Mother) to highlight the role and sacrifices a mother offers throughout her life. In fact, his poet was a tribute to all mothers.
Dr Murtaza Mughal, a famous personality in Islamabad and Karachi, stated that the social welfare is very important for the growth and development of the society. He also appreciated the role of mothers and applauded poem of Dr Sikandar Ali Shaikh. Dr Murtaza Mughal said that being a father, he takes too much care of his youngest daughter. He said that he himself weeps when his daughter weeps because of pain or any problem.
Dr Zahid Hassan Ansari, Secretary Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority, lauded the Corporate Ambassador Awards to giving awards to those who are outperforming in their fields and careers. He said that being head of the SBTA, he had worked very hard and closed down many blood banks that were either illegal, supplying substandard blood or flouting the rules and regulations.
Dr Zahid Hasan said that the Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority would not compromise on the quality of health services in the province and ensure that all the blood banks in the province strictly follow the rules and regulations of the government.
He was of the opinion that appreciation is a good work and it should be continued to promote good work and excellence in work and life.
