Sheikh Mohammad Humayun, founder of Youth Fashion Revolution (YFR), CEO of SMH Group and convener of FPCCI’s Youth Empowerment and Recognition Committee, said that YFR Youth Skill Development Program Season 4 The grand finale will be held on March 11 at a local hotel. It is a competition which includes 4 major categories of Fashion: Fashion Modelling , Fashion Designing , Fashion Styling and Fashion Photography. A total of 45 candidates from all over Pakistan have been finalized in the competition.
We strive to employ millions of YFR fashion graduates each year who are unable to find reasonable employment due to low employment rates and low practical skills.Entrepreneurship needs to be done in the digital world today, so this season we are urging our young designers to help investors launch their online brands. He said this while addressing a press conference along with former FPCCI Vice President Sheikh Humayun Saeed.
Sheikh Mohammad Humayun said The reason to bring YFR in as the need of the hour is very important, as you may be aware that hundred thousands of children graduate each year in the field of fashion but due to low employment rate and due to low practical skills they are unable to get a decent employment. Also entrepreneurship needs to be done its a digital world today therefore this season we are urging our young designers through investors support to begin their online brands .
If the required skill is not there , if the required stable mindset is not there , if our youth is unclear about its future we need to understand that we will ruin their future . That is where YFR steps in proving internationally that skill development & promotion of new young talent is the need of the hour and to give neat and clean platform to the youth of this country . Our industry has a lot of potential our models , designers , photographers & stylists can compete with international standards .
Through YFR be provide a without cost skills development program & promotion to the youth in each category . We also do our best to create and initiate employment or entrepreneurship simultaneously for all our categories .
Our previous participants are now actively working in lead projects weather it be dramas commercials , our launching of own brands Alhamdullilah the YFR Army is proving themselves out there we have given them a clear direction and clear pathway ahead .
I would like to put up here that with minimum private sector support from our honourable sponsors and with our own efforts we have been managing this even through covid . But as projects like this are the need of the hour for our youth to save their careers i would very strongly now urge all Private Sector , Media Institutions, Forces & Specially The Provincial & Federal Governments to realise that these are not just hundred thousand of students these are hundred thousands of families who are dependent on their children once they graduate. I see on the government level that there are many claims but what is the the result here i am inviting you to prove what you claim come join us in support and well prove to you what capability does our talent hold .
Our grand finale is scheduled for the 11th of march 2022 we have finalised 45 contestants from all over Pakistan
We have this year also launched our own YFR Anthem as a song of youth empowerment no matter what field it be , no matter where you come from always remember YFR & SMH Group will always stand by your side . This song is called The YFR Anthem in which we have introduced a new singer Ubaid , the message is simple that be brave , be innovative, Be Bold , take a stand & fly high without any fear
