Business leaders, coaches and athletes attend the first gathering of the Sindh Police Sports Board.
KARACHI: The newly constituted Sindh Police Sports Board has held its first meeting and gathering, bringing together business leaders, coaches and athletes from across the province.
The meeting brought together representatives from several sports. Sindh Police athletes currently compete in football, hockey, cricket, judo, karate, athletics, handball and other disciplines.
The gathering marked the beginning of a new effort to strengthen sports within the Sindh Police. Participants discussed ways to support athletes and coaches while creating better opportunities for players.
Business Community Backs Sindh Police Sports
The event received support from prominent businessmen and community figures from Karachi.
Chief CPLC Zubair Habib attended the gathering. Board members Dr Junaid Shah and Naseem Hameed also joined the event.
Fayaz Muggoo, Danish Aman, Taimur, Aamir Chutani, Zahid and Ahmer Azam, CEO of Trifit, were among the other business leaders who attended.
Their participation provided the newly formed board with strong support at the start of its activities.
The gathering also highlighted the potential for greater cooperation between the business community and Sindh Police sports programmes.
