The Pakistan LPG Marketers Association (PLPGMA) statement on strike announcement by an unregistered association. Our association believes that these sorts of calls of strike with mala fida intention will further increase the hardships of the consumer of LPG in Pakistan.
In this regard, Vice Chairman of PLPGMA Muhammad Ali Haider said that a few vested interests are misguiding the genuine members of associations and distributors of LPG to make their blitz shops and are exploiting them economically.
They have sold LPG in black by conducting strikes in the past and are still being attempted. A strike call has been given to those who have stored LPG to sell at a high price, and rejected by the LPG industry.
Pakistan LPG Marketers Association is the only association registered with DGTO and represents all LPG supply chains including; marketing companies and their associates. An association includes the stakeholders of importer local LPG and represents the major stakeholder.
The Pakistan LPG Marketers Association has announced detachment from the strike and reiterated that such strikes protect a few vested interests and promote black-marketing of LPG in the name of strikes. The Pakistan LPG Marketers Association strongly condemns and declares its detachment from the strikes.
