The Oral Cancer Surgery Unit was inaugurated in 2023 with the support of Mr. Islam Salim. Equipped with a state-of-the-art operation theatre and post-operative care facilities, the unit serves more than 60% of Karachi’s population in District Central, including high-density areas such as Orangi Town, Surjani Town, and surrounding neighborhoods, where access to affordable treatment is limited. PEBS Hospital remains the only fully free oral cancer surgery unit in Sindh and Balochistan, ensuring patients receive care with the highest standards.
The seminar was attended by prominent citizens and dignitaries of Karachi. Mr. Qazi Sajid Ali, President of Pakistan Eye Bank Society and PEBS Hospital, welcomed attendees and provided a historical overview of the institution.
