ISLAMABAD – Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has said that in three years Pakistan will become the first country to manufacture battery buses, which will be driven by an electric motor and obtains energy from on-board batteries.
In a series of tweets, the federal minister said that Pakistan will develop solar panels and lithium batteries which will change the entire energy system in the country.

The Minister said the current government will bring Pakistan back into the map of research and technology and the budget for science and technology will increase a thousand fold next year.
