Karachi Pakistan : Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) has released a new list of mandatory items in which several new products have been added. According to the announcement, special teams have been formed across the country which will be authorized to check the quality of the goods. Director General Tawfiq Ali Abbasi clarified that action will be taken against unlicensed items, including confiscation of stock and closing of factories.

The list includes food and non-food items, such as medical devices, shaving cream, car and bicycle tires, coffee, and electric sockets. If a unit does not submit an application for license within 14 days, legal action will be taken against it.
