Botim Mastercard launches UAE’s first all-in-one payment card
New Mastercard One Credential solution combines prepaid, credit, multi-currency and installment payments in a single card experience.

Botim and Mastercard launch a new all-in-one payment card in the UAE.
Botim Mastercard has launched a new all-in-one payment solution in partnership with Mastercard, giving eligible customers in the UAE greater flexibility in managing everyday spending. The new Mastercard One Credential combines prepaid balances, credit funding, multi-currency payments and installment options through a single card, removing the need to use separate cards for different payment needs.
The launch marks the first rollout of Mastercard One Credential in the UAE and across the wider Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) region. The partnership is part of a broader push by both companies to develop digital payment products that offer consumers greater choice, convenience and control.
Under the new system, eligible Botim cardholders can switch between prepaid and credit funding through a digital interface. This allows customers to select how they want to fund a transaction without having to carry or manage multiple cards.
The move comes as consumers increasingly seek flexible ways to manage payments. Mastercard’s global consumer research found that 83% of surveyed UAE consumers said they would use card installments through One Credential. The research also indicated strong interest in combining different payment options within a single payment capability.
For customers using credit for the first time, the solution is designed to provide a simpler way to access credit through an existing card experience. Users can also make payments in multiple currencies and convert purchases into installment plans, potentially giving them greater flexibility when managing larger expenses.
The Botim Mastercard offering is also positioned as a way to improve visibility over transactions and give customers more control over how they use available funds. By bringing several payment methods together, the companies say customers can manage everyday spending through a more streamlined digital experience.
“At Botim, we believe financial services should improve how people access and manage everyday financial lives,” said H.E. Dr. Tariq BinHendi, Board Member at Astra Tech and CEO of Botim. He said the partnership reflects a shared focus on expanding consumer choice, transparency and confidence in digital payments.
Gina Petersen-Skyrme, senior vice president and country manager for the UAE and Oman at Mastercard, said consumers increasingly expect payment services to be secure, simple and integrated into their digital lives. She said combining Mastercard’s One Credential technology with Botim’s platform could simplify access to different payment methods through one scalable solution.
The newly launched prepaid and installment proposition represents the first stage of a wider collaboration between the two companies. Future developments are expected to introduce additional Botim card propositions and payment use cases, potentially expanding the ways customers can pay and manage their finances.
The launch comes as fintech companies and traditional payment networks increasingly focus on flexible digital payment experiences. By combining multiple funding options into one card, Botim and Mastercard are seeking to make everyday payments more adaptable while laying the foundation for additional financial services in the UAE and the wider EEMEA region.
