Islamabad: President and Prime Minister, in their separate messages on the occasion of “Kashmir Black Day” being observed on Saturday (Oct 27), have reiterated unflinching diplomatic and political support for the just cause of the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
President Dr Arif Alvi has said that we pay homage to the sacrifices of our brethren in Occupied Kashmir and reiterate our unflinching and steadfast moral, diplomatic and political support for the just cause of the people of Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
In his message on the occasion, he said this support will continue till the realization of their lawful right to self-determination.
The President said that United Nations Security Council through several of its resolutions, has validated the Kashmiris’ right to decide their future through a fair and impartial plebiscite.
Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Message
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said Pakistan would not relent in its moral, political and diplomatic support until the Kashmiris realize their legitimate right to self-determination in accordance with the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
In his message to the nation on Kashmir Black Day, he said the day marked a tragic day in the history of South Asia.
The prime minister called for immediate implementation of the recommendation to set up a UN Commission of Inquiry to investigate human rights abuses by Indian occupation forces.
Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Khan Gandapur’s Message
Meanwhile, Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Ali Amin Khan Gandapur says Pakistan strongly condemns brutal violence by the Indian forces on innocent Kashmiri people and will continue to raise voice of the people of Kashmir at every forum.
In his message, recorded to Radio Pakistan, regarding “Kashmir Black Day”, he said we salute to the defenseless Kashmiri people who are fully determined in their struggle for right to self-determination with high morale.
Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain’s Message
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says the Kashmiri people are near to their destination and soon the sun of independence will rise.
In his message on the occasion of “Kashmir Black Day”, he said the Pakistani nation stand by their Kashmiri brethren and entire Pakistan pays tribute to the just struggle for freedom of the Kashmiri people.
NA speaker Asad Qaiser’s Message
In his message on the occasion, Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser said the struggle of Kashmiri people cannot be silenced with gun and atrocities.
He said that illegal occupation of the held valley is most tragic chapter of history.
He urged the international community to play its due role to end atrocities and human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.
Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari
Meanwhile, talking to Radio Pakistan, Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari said that Pakistan will forcefully raise the Kashmir dispute and expose the Indian state terrorism and atrocities in occupied Kashmir at every forum.
She said that Pakistan completely stands behind the Kashmiri people in their just struggle for right to self-determination.
The Minister said the world community should take notice of the human rights violations in the held territory.
