Karachi: 01-08-2025: The Naveena Steel National Junior Padel Championship 2025 officially began at Maidan, Karachi, featuring 86 young athletes from across Pakistan, competing in three age categories: Under-14, Under-16, and Under-18. The championship is organized by the Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF) in collaboration with Maidan and the Sindh Padel Federation.
An inaugural ceremony was held at KMC Sports Complex, attended by PPF CEO Mudassar Arain, owner of Maidan Mr. Usman, and President of PPF Mr. Muhammad Mateen, who graced the event as chief guest.
Speaking at the occasion, Mudassar Arain said the championship is being conducted under the guidance of Padel Asia and the International Padel Federation, strictly following international rules and standards.
He emphasized the significance of this event in uplifting junior-level padel in Pakistan.



President Muhammad Mateen announced that the championship will serve as a qualifying event for the upcoming World Junior Padel Cup scheduled to be held in Spain. The top performers from each category will be selected to represent Pakistan on the international stage.

In a show of patriotism and tribute, players and officials paid homage to the heroes of Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos and celebrated the spirit of independence by holding Pakistan’s green and white national flags during the ceremony.

All championship matches are being held at different courts within KMC Maidan, and the finals are scheduled for Sunday, August 4, 2025.

In the Under-18 category, Sindh TTF defeated both KPK and Islamabad Plus by 6-0, Sindh Pro beat
Punjab Thunderbolts 6-3 and later defeated Sindh Legends 6-1, while Sindh Legends had earlier beaten
Sindh Green 6-0, and Punjab Thunderbolts outplayed Sindh Padel Goats by 6-0. In the Under-16
category, Sindh Lions beat KPK Boys 6-0, Sindh Kings beat Sindh Boys 6-0, KPK Boys defeated Sindh Kings
6-4, Sindh Boys overcame Sindh Lions 6-2, Sindh NAM X beat Sindh Babolads 6-0, but then lost to Sindh
Acer 6-1. In the Under-14 matches, Sindh Allahwala defeated Sindh Padel X 6-0, Sindh Warriors edged
out Sindh Padel X 7-6, Sindh Shaheen secured wins over Sindh Arsalan and Sindh Smash Bros by 6-0 and
6-1 respectively, while Sindh Zaza beat Sindh Vikings 6-4.
