ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Mahathir Mohamad arrived in Islamabad this evening on a three-day visit to Pakistan. He was warmly received by Prime Minister Imran Khan at the Nur Khan airbase in Islamabad.
Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Minister in Waiting Makhdum Khusro Bakhtiar were also present along with the Prime Minister.
A twenty-one gun salute was given to the distinguished guest. Two children presented a bouquet of flowers to the visiting Prime Minister.
The Malaysian Prime Minister is accompanied by a delegation of senior officials and businessmen.
The two Prime Ministers will hold one on one meetings followed by delegation level talks.
Dr. Mahathir Mohammad is the seventh Prime Minister of Malaysia who changed the course of Malaysia and transformed it into a modern and prospering country.
