Since its inception Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan has granted thousands of wishes of critically ill children, thereby enriching their lives with hope, strength, and joy. Make-A-Wish Pakistan has requested philanthropic individuals & business entities for their support to the foundation. Mirza Ishtiaq Baig is the Founding President of Make-A-Wish Foundation Pakistan.
Make-A-Wish Pakistan mission is to fulfill the life-changing wishes of critically ill children in Pakistan to motivate them in their fight against their disease. Its vision is to reach every medically eligible child in Pakistan and grant their most cherished wishes, thereby bring smiles to the faces of the ailing children in the most difficult era of their lives. The 15 years old Sidra (Blood Disorder), 15 years old Fizza (Sickle Cell Disease), and 17 years old Sohail (Thalassemia Major) wish come true to meet Ertugrul Ghazi Turkish actor Engin Altan virtually through. The 15 years old Mohammad Husnain (Tumor) wishes come true to be a police officer. The 12 years old Vaneeza Iman (Blood Disorder) wish come true to be the host of the Ary News TV Morning Show. The 17 years old Tanzil ur Rehman (Muscular Dystrophy) wish come true to meet WWE Champion, John Cena. The 12 to 15 years old Uzair, Umair, Sameer, Unzela, Alyan, Shahzaib, and Ayesha (Critical Illnesses) wish to come true to perform Umrah with Families. The 12 years old Mathew Shaukat (Kidney Disorder) and 11 years old Raheel Haroon (Thalassemia Major) wish to come true to celebrate Christmas and meet Cardinal Joseph Coutts. The 12 years old Iqra Iqbal (Thalassemia Major) wishes to come true to recreated Disney character Princess Elsa’s bedroom. The Javeria Alam (Hodgkin Disease) and Ruba Rafique (late) (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) both 14 years old, wishes come true to be a soldier and take part in the Wahaga Border Parade. Ruba Rafique was inducted into Pak Army as Captain passed away on August 10, 2019.
