Patron-in-Chief of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), SM Muneer, and President Salman Aslam have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the demise of former President Rafiq Tarar. SM Muneer said that he served as the President of Pakistan from 1998 to 2001 and continued politics steadfastly in difficult times. He prayed that Allah would forgive the former President, rest him in the highest place in Jannah.
In his condolence statement, President KATI Salman Aslam paid tribute to the services of the former President and said that he was a patriotic politician who always gave priority to the survival and integrity of Pakistan. He said that Former President Rafiq Tarar was a pragmatic personality and a shrewd politician.
His services to the country and the nation will always be remembered. Salam Aslam prayed that Allah, the Almighty, grant him complete forgiveness, give courage to his family to endure this deep sorrow, and grant patience to his family. Amen
