Karachi : Faraz-ur-Rehman, Founder of Pakistan Business Group, has expressed deep concern over Karachi’s worsening traffic situation, stating that driving in the city has become an enormous challenge. “The deteriorating roads, illegal parking, and poor traffic management are causing daily hardships for citizens, while the business community is also facing severe disruptions due to these issues,” he said.
Shahbaz Ali Malik, Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Business Group, also highlighted the adverse impact of traffic congestion on economic activities. “Karachi is the economic hub of Pakistan, yet its poor infrastructure and chaotic traffic conditions are severely affecting businesses. Time and resources are being wasted due to constant traffic jams, which negatively impact the economy. The government must address this crisis seriously,” he emphasized.
Fawad Sheikh, President of Pakistan Business Group, called for immediate modernization of Karachi’s traffic system. “Strict enforcement of traffic laws, elimination of illegal parking, and urgent road repairs are essential to provide relief to both citizens and the business community,” he stated.
The leadership of Pakistan Business Group has urged the government and relevant authorities to take emergency measures to resolve Karachi’s traffic issues, ensuring better commuting and economic stability in the country’s largest commercial hub.
