Sindh Forensic DNA and Serology Laboratory (SFDL), Karachi University has completed the analytical work to identify the bodies of those killed in the suicide bombing at Karachi University, after which the bodies have been identified.
According to a spokesman for the International Center for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), Karachi University, Sindh Forensic DNA and Serology Laboratory was sent to Karachi University on the night of the tragedy with four bodies from the police department along with driver’s reference samples. Samples were received from three Chinese experts and a Pakistani driver.
According to the spokesperson, the report has been submitted within 26 hours after completing the analytical work as soon as possible on the instructions of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Chaudhry, Head, ICCBS, Karachi University and Coordinator General of COMSTEC.
It should be noted that the samples of the relatives of the Chinese experts were not available.
