According to a statement issued by BSEK Chairman Ghulam Hussain, the decision was taken in the best interest of students across Karachi to ensure better arrangements and facilitation.
However, the Private Schools Association has raised concerns over the delay, alleging that the board failed to issue admit cards to students on time, which led to the postponement.
Sources further indicated that the delay was also linked to the late submission of examination forms. Several schools reportedly missed the initial deadline, while thousands of forms were submitted in the last few days along with late fees.
