Since last day, heavy rain has continued in different areas of Karachi, due to which water has accumulated in many areas and the life system has been disrupted.
Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz has said that the city may experience light and heavy rain today, while the intensity of the monsoon system is likely to decrease after this afternoon.
He has said that the monsoon system expected for July does not seem to be of much intensity.
According to Sardar Sarfraz, the current spell of rain will continue till July 26.
According to the Meteorological Department, another system may affect Karachi from July 30.
On the other hand, flight operations have also been affected due to continuous rain in Karachi.
Dozens of flights to and from Karachi have been canceled while many have been delayed.
