According to police in Karachi, two persons have been arrested for the murder of 18-year-old Jazlan Faisal in Bahria Town on Super Highway.
On Sunday, local police officials said that Hasnain’s father Muhammad Faiz, who was arrested on charges of facilitation, has also been arrested.
Accused Hasnain’s father Muhammad Faiz’s licensed pistol was used in the murder.
Police say raids are being carried out to nab two more accused named in the FIR.
The case of the incident that took place in Bahria Town Karachi has been registered in the complaint of the uncle of the slain Jazlan Faisal. Four people have been named in the lawsuit.
Gaddafi City Police Station SHO Fahad Hussain said that a bitter argument broke out between Jazlan Faisal and the accused on May 25 in Bahria Town for forbidding a young man named Muhammad Hasnain Faiz from performing stunts on a motorcycle.
Irfan Jazlan, brother of the motorcycle rider, fled the scene after firing on Faisal.
According to police, the victim’s friend Shah Mir sustained minor injuries after being shot in the arm.
Shah Mir told police that he and Jazlan were in the car when he got into a heated argument with the motorcyclist.
After bitter words, he brought his brothers from his house. Hasnain’s brother Ahsan, Ehsan and Irfan opened fire on the spot.
Police arrested Hasnain on the first day of the murder.
Jazlan Faisal and Shah Mir belong to Safora Goth. The two had gone to visit relatives on the day of the accident while the accused were residents of Bahria Town.
Jazlan was the second of three siblings. Her father died in an accident 10 years ago. Jazlan lived with his grandparents.
Jazlan’s grandmother has demanded from the higher authorities that strict action be taken against the accused involved in the incident.
