Karachi – On Wednesday, March 19, The “Japanese Calendar Exhibition 2025” was inaugurated at the Avari Towers by the Consulate-General of Japan in Karachi. Foreign dignitaries, academic scholars, professionals, and local residents gathered to appreciate around 80 different Japanese calendars presented by Japan Calendar Publishers Cooperative Union (JCAL).
In his speech, Acting Consul General NAKAGAWA Yasushi highlighted that these calendars would play an important role in portraying Japan to the Pakistani people.
He also expressed his sincere gratitude for the friendship shown to Japan by the Pakistani government and people during the relief efforts following the earthquake and Tsunami on March 11, 2011. Chief Guest Additional Home Secretary Sindh Mr. Iqbal Memon said understanding each other’s cultures would bring the two nations and governments together.
