Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared that the country will firmly oppose both an imposed war and an imposed peace, stating that the Iranian nation will not yield to pressure or coercion. His remarks were broadcasted on national television and reported by Tasnim news agency.
Khamenei emphasized, “Iran will resist any form of imposition—be it war or peace. This nation does not surrender under pressure.”
He also addressed remarks made by former U.S. President Donald Trump, warning that those familiar with Iran’s past should know that threats do not work on Iranians. He cautioned the U.S., stating, “Any military action by America will undoubtedly lead to irreversible consequences.”
