Karachi: A distinguished five-member delegation from the Ministry of Agriculture and leading businessmen from the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire paid an official visit to the Honorary Consulate of Côte d’Ivoire in Karachi, where they were warmly received by Honorary Consul General Fazal Karim Dadabhoy.

The delegation was presented with Sindh’s traditional Ajrak and a bouquet, symbolising Pakistan’s rich culture and warm hospitality. The visitors expressed deep appreciation for the respect and cordiality extended to them.
The meeting was held in an exceptionally cordial and constructive atmosphere. Discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, exploring new avenues of agricultural cooperation, expanding trade opportunities, and enhancing cultural exchange between the two nations.

Honorary Consul General Fazal Karim Dadabhoy noted that the trade volume between Pakistan and Côte d’Ivoire has reached USD 200 million, adding that both countries possess immense potential to expand collaboration across multiple sectors.

The delegation praised Karachi’s vibrant hospitality, its rich cuisine, and the warm nature of its people. They also commended Honorary Consul General Fazal Karim Dadabhoy for his continued efforts in promoting Pakistan–Côte d’Ivoire relations and for his invaluable support in ensuring the success of their visit to Karachi.
As a gesture of goodwill, the visit concluded with the planting of a sapling—symbolising growth, friendship, and a promising future for bilateral ties.
