KARACHI (14th November 2023) United Business Group (UBG) Secretary General (Sindh Region) Hanif Gohar while appreciating the decision of the Supreme Court against fake commercial establishments declared it a victory for the right and said that this decision has proved that in the past Our opposition group has also been occupying the Federation Chamber of Commerce with the help of fake votes, but the decision of the Supreme Court has met the intentions of the occupiers and the business community of Pakistan has also come to know the evil intentions of the opposition group.
According to the details,the Supreme Court of Pakistan recently delivered a decisive verdict against various bogus trade bodies in Balochistan, including Loralai CCI, Pakistan Transport Association, Scrap Importers Association, Gas Heater Importers Association, Women CCI Quetta, Plastic Scraps Association of Pakistan, All Pakistan Land Route Customs Agents Association, Ghee Exporters Association, All Pakistan Copper Importers and Exporters Association, and All Pakistan Glass Manufacturers Imports and Exporters Associations. Hanif Gohar, Secretary General of the United Business Group (UBG), expressed his satisfaction with this decision, emphasizing that these trade bodies had their licenses revoked years ago and were not entitled to be members of FPCCI. Their presence had diminished the influence of valid and legitimate trade bodies within FPCCI.
Gohar congratulated the entire business community on this significant achievement. He further highlighted that there are still trade bodies with canceled licenses, and they should not be allowed to participate in the upcoming FPCCI elections.
The business community of Pakistan welcomes the Supreme Court’s decision, as it eliminates bogus trade bodies that have been detrimental to the country’s economy and legitimate trade organizations.
