Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs1,346 to hit an all-time high of Rs300,046. Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold surged by Rs1,154, reaching Rs257,241, as per the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Friday, global gold prices also soared to a record level, with APGJSA reporting an international rate of $2,869 per ounce (including a $20 premium), reflecting a $10 rise for the day.
This surge follows a brief decline on Thursday when gold prices in Pakistan dropped by Rs900 per tola, settling at Rs298,700. Meanwhile, silver prices also saw an increase of Rs51, bringing the per tola rate to Rs3,378.
