KARACHI: Saqib Fayyaz Magoon, Senior Leader of the Businessmen Panel Progressive, has emphasized that unless the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) is taken on board, economic conditions will not improve. BMP-Progressive aims to empower the Chamber of Commerce, and we are hopeful that BMP-Progressive candidates will win with a significant majority in the Federation elections. Their objective is to restore the reputation of the Federation.
He was addressing the participants at the reception hosted by all Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sindh in Hyderabad. BMP Progressive Coordinators Khurram Ejaz, Adeel Siddiqui, FPCCI Vice President Shabbir Mansha, Progressive members, including Aman Paracha, Qamar, Sham Lal, Asif Sukhi, Rizwan Elahi, Maqbool Malik, Khalil Baloch, Hyderabad Chamber Patron Iqbal Hussain Baig, Senior Vice President Najamuddin Qureshi, Vice President Owais Khan, Former MPA Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui, and others were also present.
Saqib Fayyaz Magoon expressed gratitude to the Benazirabad, Dadu, and Jamshoro Chambers for their support to BMP Progressives in the Federation elections. He stated that their ideology is to serve the business community.
Coordinator of BMP Progressive, Khurram Ejaz, emphasized that seniors are their asset, youth are their future, and they will serve Pakistan and the business community with integrity. The eradication of VIP culture from FPCCI is a top priority for their group, and they will not allow the Federation to become a club.
Adeel Siddiqui, BMP Progressive Coordinator, presented the case of Sindh, expressing his commitment to work for the improvement of Pakistan’s economy. He pledged to always speak about justice and fairness. Businessmen and industrialists from all over Pakistan are joining BMP Progressive, and the support and cooperation of the business community are needed.
Siddiqui welcomed the guests, stating that the feudal system has been running in the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry for seventy-five years. He emphasized the need to bring forward the unemployed educated young generation to change economic conditions. Siddiqui mentioned that the talent and decisions of BMP Progressive, Shabbir Mansha, and others inspired him.
FPCCI Vice President Shabbir Mansha mentioned that in the difficult situation that has created problems for them, traders will focus on the social problems of the traders’ community by addressing the thousands of containers stuck at the ports.
Dadu Chamber of Commerce & Industry patron and former president Mustafa Solangi expressed concern that representatives of the Sindh Chamber of Commerce in the Federation are not given the opportunity to speak at the forum. He stated that their caravan is against the VIP culture.
Jamshoro Chamber of Commerce & Industry President Yasir Iqbal Malik and Benazirabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry Sheraz Kerio announced their unconditional support for the nominees of BMP Progressive in the FPCCI elections.
