Employers Recognition Diamond Award-2022 by ILO (International Labour Organisation) Country Director Geir T. Tonstol in the service sector for the first time in Pakistan for any diagnostic Centre as CEO of Dr. Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Centre.
You will agree that the availability of the requisite skilled workforce is important for the development of local industry and the public sector TVET institutions are not producing a workforce with the skills set needed for the local industry.
The shortage of skilled people is not only resulting in low productivity and growth but also limiting innovation and enterprise competitiveness. The majority of enterprises, therefore, to cater to the increasing need for a skilled workforce have developed their in-house training programs, and provide training to youth already employed.
The Employers’ Federation of Pakistan (EFP) believes that the acknowledgment and recognition at the highest level of employers/enterprises, who invest and take extra initiatives in skills development will encourage and motivate them for more investment in human resources development. With this spirit, EFP with the support of the International Labour Organization (ILO) has launched the ‘EFP Skills Development Employers’ Recognition Award 2022’.
