Kotri : Combined XII class won the Tug of War event held in inter-class sports gala of Alibaba Government Boys Degree College Kotri. The winning team defeated Combined XI by 2-1 in the final.The event was organized by Senior Directors Physical Education Mohammad Iqbal Qureshi and Mohammad Amin Jhandir along with Chief Director Physical Education Parvez Ahmed Sheikh, while Noor Muhammad Sheikh, Zaryab Ali and Saadat Ali were the technical officials.
Earlier the event was inaugurated by President of Hyderabad Divisional Tug of War Association Jamshed Ahmed Khan. On this occasion, he appreciated Secretary Aisha Irum for her outstanding efforts in the promotion of tug-of-war, Baseball, Softbsll & other sport across the division and in her GGD college Kotri. He says that according to the vision of the Secretary of Sindh Tug of War Association, Javed Iqbal Baig, it is our first priority to promote the game of tug of war in educational institutions according to the regularly defined weights and rules.
In the Last,the principal of the college, Prif. Dr. Fazal Karim Siddiqui, along with professors, Muhammad Aftab Sheikh, Abdul Qadeer Qureshi, Javed Iqbal Sheikh & Hafiz Mohammad Soomro distributed the trophies.
