Karachi : Syed Tariq Shah, Chairman All Private Schools Management Association Sindh (APSMA Sindh), has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic fire incident at Gul Plaza, M.A. Jinnah Road, Karachi, which resulted in the loss of precious human lives and caused massive destruction of business assets.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their loved ones in the incident and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls. He also expressed complete solidarity with the injured and the affected families, praying for their speedy recovery and strength during this difficult time.
Syed Tariq Shah stated that the business owners of Gul Plaza have suffered irreparable financial losses, with years of hard work reduced to ashes. APSMA Sindh stands shoulder to shoulder with all the affected traders and business owners and shares their grief and pain.
In a humanitarian appeal, APSMA Sindh has urged all private school owners across Sindh to cooperate with the affected families by ensuring the continuity of their children’s education and to grant complete fee waivers for the next few months, until the families are able to recover from their losses.
He emphasized that education must not become an additional burden for families already facing immense hardship and stressed the importance of unity, compassion, and collective responsibility in times of crisis.
