Canada and Pakistan have had excellent diplomatic relations for the past 77 years :Kafeel Hussain.

Karachi : President of KHA Business and International Relations, CEO Kafeel Hussain Group and renowned architect Kafeel Hussain said while presenting the message to Canadian nation on the occasion of Canada Day. He said Canada and Pakistan have had excellent diplomatic relations for the past 77 years being improved by increase in the export of Pakistani products to Canada.

 Kafeel Hussain said that the two countries are fully committed to the wide range of interests in bilateral relations, which include people-to-people links, democracy, human rights, climate change, development assistance, regional security and defense and promotion of trade and investment.

He said that as a member of the United Nations, Canada and Pakistan are also participating in various activities at the international level, while there is a long history of important partnership between the two countries in the establishment of peace.

Kafeel Hussain said that Pakistan is Canada’s 36th largest export destination for merchandise, with bilateral trade between the two countries reaching $1.11 billion, with Canadian exports to Pakistan totaling $669 million and exports from Pakistan totaling $438 million There were imports.

He said that Canadian companies have vast job opportunities for Pakistanis in the fields of education, information and communication technology, energy, oil and gas, agri-food and timber sectors. Kafeel Hussain said that besides promoting bilateral trade with Canada, Pakistan is trying to further improve cultural relations.

There are now over 300,000 people of Pakistani origin who live in Canada. They comprise some of the most prominent members of Canadian society.
