Pakistan Senate Participation:
Pakistan will be represented by:

Senator Saleem Mandviwala, Chief Whip of the Senate of Pakistan

Senator Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan, Chairman, Standing Committee on Cabinet

In this regional environment, Pakistan’s geographical and diplomatic relevance remains critical at the nexus of South Asia, Central Asia, and the Gulf, with implications for U.S. strategic interests, counterterrorism cooperation, and energy/security corridors.

The dialogue is intended to:

Upgrade legislative-level communication channels

Promote strategic stability and economic engagement

Support diaspora contributions as an asset in bilateral relations

A U.S.–Pakistan Caucus on Strategic Engagement is expected to be announced during the Rayburn session.
