Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has emphasized the need to build an electoral system acceptable and credible for all the political leadership in the country.
In a tweet today, electoral reform is a national agenda to ensure free, fair and transparent elections in the country. He said it is not agenda of Imran Khan or Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
The Minister said it will be a great achievement of political system if all political forces move towards electoral reforms.
Meanwhile, in another tweet, Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said mainstream print and electronic media should highlight the reduction in sugar price across the country in the result of government action.
He also stressed the need to curb fake news tendency through legislation.
The Information Minister said the courts should also now remove stay orders given to the sugar mills.
