Islamabad: Ever since 28 February, when the war erupted, the world has been gripped in fear and chaos.
The oil prices have surged up scale, while the Strait of Hormuz became a battleground for the world leaders, now making it one of the alibi for peace talks. As Iran bombed Israel back in defending its country, Lebanon and UAE fell victim to this military conflict too. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, all came under the war mayhem, pushing altogether the region into one of he worst military conflicts.
What may unfold from these peace talks is yet to be framed, however, earlier President Trump from Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport “I wish him well," he said of VP Vance arriving in Pakistan for peace talks. Trump said he anticipated progress to "open up the Gulf with or without" a deal. President Trump also said he was "NOT going to let" Iran toll the Strait of Hormuz.

Vice President JD Vance on early morning Saturday 11 April, arrived in Islamabad to ease regional tension and strike a deal which is mutually conducive both to Iran and the U.S.
Ahead of the Vice President’s trip to Pakistan, before departure at Joint Base Andrews, VP Vance said “We’re looking forward to negotiation. I think it's going to be positive.”
VP JD Vance made remarks leaving “as the President of the United States said, if the Iranians are willing to negotiate in good faith”, the U.S. will respond back with an open
hand. He further said “If they're going to try to play us, then they're going to find the negotiating
team is not that receptive."
He further reiterated that “we're going to try to have a positive negotiation. The President gave us some pretty clear guidelines, and we're going to see.”
The Vice President landed at PAF Nur Khan Base at 10.29 am local time and desembarked AF2 on the morning of 11 April at 10.46 am, with an aura as savior of mankind, after Trump’s X post that the ‘whole civilization will die in one night’, if Iran does not come up to a workable deal.
VP JD Vance was accorded a warm welcome by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Federal Interior Minister Mohson Naqvi. Also, Ms Natalie Baker, Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy Islamabad was present. VP was handed a floral bouquet by a boy dressed in white shalwar kameez. Jared Kushner and Steve Wirkoff are also present to welcome VP JD Vance.
Vice President JD Vance left the PAF Nur Khan Base, then made a brief stopover at the U.S.
Embassy Islamabad – headed towards Serena Hotel Islamabad for the crucial peace talks.
