The Sindh government has nominated Maheen Salman, Senior Vice President of KATI, as the chairperson of GVTC Girls of Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (STEVTA-IMC), on the occasion President of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) Salman Aslam expressed great happiness and praised Maheen Salman for the honorary post. He said that Maheen Salman is a talented businesswomen, and the nomination of GVTC Girl as Chairperson is an acknowledgment of her abilities.
KATI President Salman Aslam said that Maheen Salman Korangi is constantly striving to promote women entrepreneurs and increase equal opportunities. Maheen Salman also has a lot of services in environmental protection and research. Salman Aslam said that he is sure that with his appointment as chairperson, GVTC Girls’ organization will double day and quadruple night.
In addition, President KATI congratulated the other members of the organization on their election. He said that it was an honor for KATI that two officials of KATI have been selected for the key role in Sindh Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority. Earlier, former SVP Junaid Naqi was nominated as the Chairman of GVTC Girls Korangi. And now the Senior Vice President Maheen Salman has been appointed as the Chairperson of GVTC Girls Landhi.
Salman Aslam said that Maheen Salman would use her talents to play an excellent role in providing industry research and practical training and hoped that her efforts would enable the youth, especially women, to acquire immense talents and skills. This will provide them with employment opportunities and they will be able to play a full role in society.
President KATI further said that to bring the curriculum of technical training institutes in line with the requirements of modern times, it is necessary to keep an eye on the ever-changing industrial requirements and changing technology. He further said that efforts should be continued to ensure future linkages between industry and technical training institutes.
