As a Chief Guest addressed Indus University model United Nations conference on April 01 to 5 at Karachi local hotel Ambassador at Large for Global Peace & Human Rights Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui Chairman, Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) said that Model United Nations are a treasure chest of opportunities which opens up undiscovered horizons for students all across the globe, MUNs are a great way of enriching the learning experience of the students.
It is the youth of any nation which help the country progress, youth to have access to opportunities and platforms to take steps for sustainable development of society. Indus MUN IV is the national level conference, the aim of which is to make use of the strengths of the youth to subvert the attention from petty issues.
A huge shout-out to Indus University for organizing such a brilliant and well planned model United Nations conference IV. It has been an absolute pleasure to be a part of this experience. Enjoyed watching boys and girls passionately debating issues of the world. Shared my experiences of being a UN Peacekeeper. I have thoroughly enjoyed sitting as a delegate and learning and imparting the knowledge gained to the younger generation.

We need your energy, your imagination, your boldness, your ideals, your innovation, to build the structure of a peaceful, prosperous and equal world order and also need meaningful youth engagement at all levels of government.

Only 10 years left to achieve the SDG’s, it is now crucial more than ever to enhance youth engagement in the implementation of the SDG’s. It is really important that you all know about the issues plaguing the society and what steps have been taken to counter them. This conference promotes unity and team work towards achieving set goals and objectives.
On ensuring free, publicly funded, inclusive, equitable and quality education Indus model United Nations MUN brings you discussion on how to unleash your potential through education. Besides several challenges climate change is the biggest threat. We need proper planning and research to solve climate change. Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) train the aspiring young leaders to bring the change they wish to see in the world. The youth can dream and think. I once dreamt about making the ICPH and, today, I am happy to see it going strong.
There are no better places like these to raise awareness regarding women rights – and especially when the audience is youth. So, UN Women had to be there. To hear boys and girls talk about sexual objectification, domestic violence and socio – economical challenges men and women face in our Pakistani society was really inspiring. Here Indus University is presenting you an amazing opportunity of being diplomat and Experience the world of diplomacy. It is a whole new experience for the new delegates. Unity can take you a long way. And coordination with unity spice up the game. Therefore we had this meet up to clear all the clouds and have a bright sky for you all.
