The collaboration builds on the longstanding relationship between Standard Chartered and EMAAR while supporting broader access to premium real estate opportunities for both resident and non-resident Pakistanis. By equipping brokers with financing knowledge, the bank aims to simplify the home-buying process and improve guidance for clients seeking property investment opportunities.
Award-winning mortgage solutions for homebuyers
Recently recognised by Euromoney as Pakistan’s Best Bank for Mortgages, Standard Chartered showcased its financing expertise and customer-focused mortgage offerings during the event. The bank said the initiative enables brokers to provide clients with clearer financing options while supporting informed purchasing decisions.
Saadya Riaz, Head of Wealth and Retail Banking at Standard Chartered Pakistan, said brokers often serve as the first trusted advisers during a client’s property journey. She said the partnership with EMAAR combines premium real estate developments with award-winning financing solutions, making home ownership more accessible while delivering the high level of service clients expect from the bank.
Supporting Pakistan’s housing market
EMAAR Pakistan Chief Executive Officer Aziz Jindani said Pakistan’s housing finance sector remains significantly underdeveloped compared with the country’s economic potential. He noted that many young families in Pakistan and abroad have the financial ability to purchase homes but often struggle to secure suitable mortgage financing.
He said Standard Chartered’s Home Finance facility now offers eligible buyers an opportunity to purchase homes at EMAAR’s newly completed The Views and Panorama high-rise residential towers, helping more families realise their dream of home ownership.
Longstanding global collaboration
Standard Chartered said its collaboration with EMAAR extends across multiple international markets, combining the developer’s premium real estate portfolio with the bank’s cross-border banking capabilities and financing expertise. The partnership aims to deliver a seamless property-buying experience for clients in Pakistan and overseas.
The bank reaffirmed its commitment to supporting customers through tailored financing solutions that help individuals and families achieve their property ownership and long-term investment goals.
