Karachi — Under the patronage of Javed Alam Odho, the Sindh Police Sports Board has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Meezan Bank to construct a modern padel court at the Police Headquarters Garden in Karachi.
The agreement aims to promote sports culture within the Sindh Police, encourage healthy recreational activities, and provide modern fitness facilities for police personnel.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by Meezan Bank Director Mehmood-ul-Hassan, Chairman Sindh Police Sports Board Syed Pir Muhammad Shah, senior police officials, and other stakeholders.
Officials on the occasion highlighted that sports activities play a vital role in enhancing physical fitness, mental well-being, institutional discipline, and overall morale among law enforcement personnel. They appreciated the collaboration between Meezan Bank and the Sindh Police, noting that such initiatives contribute to improving the overall standard of sports infrastructure within the police department.
During the ceremony, a cheque was also handed over to contractor Ahmed for the commencement of construction work. Authorities confirmed that the project will be completed within the stipulated timeframe to ensure timely availability of modern sports facilities.
