PAROS : A valuable masterpiece painting by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso, worth more than $1 million (approximately 280 million Pakistani rupees), has been sold for just 100 euros (approximately $117). This surprising event came as a result of a special charity lottery held in Paris. A man named ‘Ari Hodara’, who is a software salesman by profession, was declared the winner of this lucky draw. The 1 Picasso for 100 Euros campaign featured Picasso’s 1941 work, Tête de Femme, as a prize. The painting was donated by the Paris Opera Gallery. It depicts a woman’s face in varying shades of gray in a unique Cubist style, which is a hallmark of Picasso’s art.
