The panel discussion, titled “Male Allyship: From Intent to Impact – Moving Beyond Support to Measurable Change,” featured prominent speakers including Muhammad Ali Gulfaraz, Saad Zuberi, and Mehvish Waliany. The session was moderated by Mufarrah Malik.
Discussions centered on moving beyond symbolic gestures toward actionable strategies in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Speakers emphasized the need for organizations to embed inclusive practices into their core structures and ensure accountability at leadership levels.
Muhammad Ali Gulfaraz highlighted the importance of consistent leadership commitment, noting that his organization maintains a 22% female workforce with representation in senior roles. He stressed that true inclusion requires sustained action and integration into an organization’s culture.
Panelists underscored the critical role male leaders play in fostering inclusive workplaces, advocating for systemic reforms, and leveraging influence to create long-term impact for women in the workforce.
The event was organized in collaboration with Development of Human Resources and Disrupt Karachi, and hosted at Ashreitech Academy. It received support from several leading institutions, including Salim Habib University and Ziauddin University.
