The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) organized a Health Awareness Seminar on World Kidney Day at the Federation House .The event was organized by Dr Zahid Hasan Ansari, Former Secretary of the Sindh Blood Transfusion Authority (SBTA), Government of Sindh, and Chairman of the FPCCI Central Standing Committee on Medical and Health Sciences.
The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the ongoing efforts toward kidney disease eradication in Pakistan and to highlight the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring a Diseased nation.

Dr. Zahid Hasan Ansari, in his welcome remarks, highlighted FPCCI’s commitment to supporting public health initiatives and encouraged greater collaboration between government, industry, and civil society to eradicate polio and other preventable diseases.
The event was well-attended by members of the FPCCI Standing Committees, doctors, industrialists, NGOs, philanthropists, medical staff, and representatives from thalassemia centers. Children affected by polio were also present, symbolizing the importance of continued awareness and vaccination efforts.
Shields and flowers were presented to the Chief Guest and Key Speaker, while certificates of appreciation were awarded to distinguished philanthropists for their contributions to public health.
In his closing remarks, Dr. Zahid Hasan Ansari expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants, speakers, and attendees for making the event a success and reaffirmed FPCCI’s dedication to supporting national health causes.
