Karachi Pakistan : Rotary Club Karachi Nexus organized a Sehri in honor of the Rotarians. On this occasion, DG Shahzad Sabir, former DG Aftab Imam, former DG Muhammad Hanif Khan, Syed Kashif Rafi, Abdul Hameed Aslam, Waqar Ahmed Sheikh, President Fawad Sheikh, Khurram Anis, Aslam Khaliq, Kausar Aslam, GS M. Ali Haider, Ahmed Zeeshan, Syed Turab Shah, Javed Zaidi, Architect Iqbal Baloch, Sumeera Rani, Nighat Yasmin, Durdana Arshad, Saeed Ahmed, Naseem Bukhari, Zarin Ansari, Fahad F Ansari, Imran Mahmood, Mehnaz Imran, Nasira Khan and other friends and members participated in full.
The participants of the event discussed various economic, social and business issues through mutual meetings. On this occasion, President of Rotary Club Karachi Nexus, Fawad Sheikh, welcomed the guests and said that Ramadan teaches us the lesson of brotherhood, unity and service to humanity and such gatherings are a means of strengthening ties among themselves.
He said that we should do as many good deeds as possible in this blessed month, help the deserving people and promote love and harmony in the society. He said that the Rotary Club has always been at the forefront of welfare activities and will continue to play its role in serving humanity in the future. Speaking on the occasion, Secretary M. Ali Haider said that Ramadan teaches us patience, sacrifice and helping others.
He said that such gatherings in this blessed month not only strengthen mutual ties but also provide us with an opportunity to come closer to each other and play a positive role in society. M. Ali Haider said that we should understand our responsibilities and make service to humanity our motto and provide full support to the needy so that a better and prosperous society can be created.
The business and social figures present at the ceremony also welcomed the occasion and said that such meetings bring people from different fields closer to each other and promote positive thinking to solve common problems. He appreciated the organization of the Sehri by President Fawad Sheikh. The participants also discussed the country’s economic situation, promotion of business activities and social welfare projects.
On this occasion, it was emphasized that the business community and social institutions should work together for the development and improvement of society. The event was held in a pleasant atmosphere where the participants enjoyed Sehri and also exchanged ideas with each other. Finally, the guests thanked the Rotary Club Karachi Nexus and expressed the hope that such meaningful events would continue to be held in the future.
