Honorary Directors Muhammad Kamran, Nadeem Ilyas announce CT Scan for Rs. 1,500
Addition of modern facilities termed a major step forward for public health.

Karachi (Staff Reporter): In a significant step towards improving healthcare services, an inauguration ceremony for state-of-the-art medical facilities was held at BHY Hospital, Karachi. The event was attended by Honorary Executive Director Hafiz Muhammad Kamran Asli Puri, Deputy Honorary Executive Director Sohail Ahmed, Honorary General Secretary of Jamiat Punjabi Saudagran Delhi (JPSD) Nadeem Ilyas, other directors, hospital consultants, senior doctors, medical staff, and administrative officials in large numbers.
The honorary directors formally inaugurated a CT Scan machine in the Radiology Department, along with ultrasound and echocardiography machines in the OPD, by cutting the ribbon.
Speaking on the occasion, Honorary Executive Director Hafiz Muhammad Kamran Asli Puri and Honorary General Secretary Nadeem Ilyas announced that, in view of rising inflation and to provide relief to the public, BHY Hospital will offer plain CT Scan services at a highly subsidized rate of only Rs. 1,500, which is significantly lower than private hospitals. They further announced that the Radiology Department will remain open 24 hours a day to serve the public.
Nadeem Ilyas stated that the installation of modern machines will enhance the speed, accuracy, and convenience of the diagnostic process. He added that the hospital’s initiative to provide world-class diagnostic facilities at highly subsidized rates marks an important milestone in public healthcare.
Hafiz Muhammad Kamran Asli Puri said that all these facilities have been introduced keeping the common man in mind, so that poor and middle-income segments of society can access quality healthcare without bearing the heavy financial burden of expensive private hospitals.
Deputy Honorary Executive Director Sohail Ahmed said that advanced facilities such as CT Scan, ultrasound, and echocardiography are being provided at BHY Hospital at very low and concessional rates, which is a major relief for the public. He added that the hospital administration aims to introduce more modern equipment and facilities in the future to further expand its mission of public service.
Administrator of BHY Hospital, Ayaz Hassan Razi, expressed gratitude to Honorary Executive Director Hafiz Muhammad Kamran Asli Puri, Deputy Honorary Executive Director Sohail Ahmed, Honorary General Secretary Nadeem Ilyas, and all board members, stating that their tireless efforts, vision, and patronage have made it possible to introduce these advanced diagnostic facilities.
Participants at the ceremony, including consultants, senior doctors, medical staff, and administrative officials, termed the addition of modern facilities a major advancement for public health. They appreciated the hospital management’s continuous efforts and expressed hope that BHY Hospital will continue to progress in the healthcare sector with the same spirit of public service in the future.
The participants emphasized that this initiative will greatly benefit the people of Karachi, especially middle- and low-income patients, by providing access to modern diagnostic services without the need to visit expensive private healthcare centers.
