The woman booked a Waymo robotaxi to go to the University of California, but went into labor on the way. The woman gave birth inside the car before reaching her destination. The Waymo company’s support team noticed an unusual situation inside the vehicle, after which the team contacted the passenger and notified 911 emergency.
