He said that Africa is going to become the world’s fastest growing market in the next decade and the Pakistani business community should seize this opportunity.Dr. Shahbaz said that the council’s goal is to increase Pak-Africa bilateral trade to $15 billion by 2030, while Pakistani investors should invest $2 billion by 2028. Pakistani investors will invest $2 billion in African countries. He said that joint projects will be launched in the sectors of agriculture, industry, energy, information technology and manufacturing, which will create more than one hundred thousand job opportunities. He said that the council will not be limited to trade only, but will establish lasting relations between Pakistan and Africa through the exchange of education, technology and promotion of people-to-people contacts.
