In the lead-up to the highly anticipated Champions Trophy, cricket fans can relive the electrifying rivalry between India and Pakistan through Netflix’s upcoming documentary, “The Greatest Rivalry: India vs Pakistan.”
Announced by the streaming giant on Monday, the documentary is set to premiere on February 7. It promises an in-depth look at the drama, passion, and high-stakes encounters that define this storied rivalry, offering exclusive insights from cricketing legends on both sides.
Featured in the teaser are iconic players like Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, and Waqar Younis, among others.
The tournament itself will see arch-rivals India and Pakistan clash on Sunday, February 23, in what is expected to be a thrilling contest. India, placed in a group with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, will face Bangladesh on February 20 and New Zealand on March 2, with all matches likely to take place in Dubai.
Pakistan, the defending champions, will kick off their campaign against New Zealand in Karachi on February 19, with their final league match scheduled against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi on February 27.
