Karachi is enjoying clear skies, with temperatures expected to drop as low as 8°C due to an increase in cold intensity. Daytime conditions remain sunny and mild, but nights have turned noticeably cooler.

The city’s maximum temperature is forecasted to range between 24°C and 26°C, with humidity levels currently at 35%. Northeastern winds are blowing at 8 kilometers per hour, and the overnight minimum temperature was recorded at 10.5°C.

The Meteorological Department’s Early Warning Center has cautioned that Karachi’s cold spell could intensify within the next 24 to 48 hours, with minimum temperatures potentially dipping into single digits. Predictions suggest the mercury could drop to around 8°C on Saturday and Sunday.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has ruled out significant rainfall for Karachi and its surrounding areas in the coming days. Clear, sunny weather typical of the winter season is expected to persist, providing ideal conditions for outdoor activities.

Cold conditions are forecasted to continue across the province, with severe cold anticipated in areas such as Larkana and Qamber Shahdadkot.
