Pakistan: An air hostess from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) was detained at Toronto airport after passports of unrelated persons were found in her possession on flight PK-789 to Toronto. The air hostess, identified as Hina Sani, had previously been warned for allegedly bringing contraband into Canada.
Seven other flight attendants were declared “no-flyers” for Toronto. PIA is cooperating with Canadian authorities, and further legal action may be taken. This incident follows similar cases involving PIA staff in Canada.
